Hi, Emily here! I'm a Texas girl who now calls Arizona home. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where I had the privilege of playing Division I softball. While those years shaped me in many ways, they also marked the beginning of something even more meaningful. This is where my relationship with the LORD truly began to deepen through the quiet practice of journaling.

Like many of you, I’m still finding my way through life and discovering what it looks like to follow Jesus one day at a time. I’m reminded that life is made up of daily obedience by constantly saying “yes” to the LORD in the small moments. I’m continuing to uncover the gifts, talents, and abilities He has uniquely given me and seeking to use them in a way that brings Him glory.

I’ve come to understand that it’s okay not to have every answer. God meets us in the uncertainty, and there is peace in knowing that while our circumstances may change, He never does. His character remains constant, His goodness remains steadfast, and His presence remains near.

DWLLNG PLCE was born from those quiet moments with Him, and my hope is that these journals would help you create space to dwell deeply, seek intentionally, and experience His faithfulness in your own story.
