Some of the sweetest moments in my walk with the LORD have been found through journaling. It is a time when I bring God my prayers, desires, joys, sorrows, and everything in between. Once blank pages are now filled with thousands of words that no one else will ever read—just endless conversations between God and me. Some pages are marked with fallen tears, while others are filled with moments of joy that still make me smile when I reread them. Pages where vulnerability is welcomed and secrets have no place.

There is nothing quite like looking back on those pages and witnessing God’s faithfulness woven throughout them. Time and time again, prayers have been answered, revealing His steadfast goodness. These countless answered prayers have become countless reminders of the LORD’s faithfulness.

DWLLNG PLCE was created in hopes of sharing this intimate space with you, cultivating intentional moments to slow down and meet with God. My prayer is that these journals would help you cultivate a life of dwelling with the LORD, drawing nearer to Him with every page.

Meet the Founder

Hi, Emily here! I'm a Texas girl who now calls Arizona home. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where I had the privilege of playing Division I softball. While those years shaped me in many ways, they also marked the beginning of something even more meaningful. This is where my relationship with the LORD truly began to deepen through the quiet practice of journaling.

Like many of you, I’m still finding my way through life and discovering what it looks like to follow Jesus one day at a time. I’m reminded that life is made up of daily obedience by constantly saying “yes” to the LORD in the small moments. I’m continuing to uncover the gifts, talents, and abilities He has uniquely given me and seeking to use them in a way that brings Him glory.

I’ve come to understand that it’s okay not to have every answer. God meets us in the uncertainty, and there is peace in knowing that while our circumstances may change, He never does. His character remains constant, His goodness remains steadfast, and His presence remains near.

DWLLNG PLCE was born from those quiet moments with Him, and my hope is that these journals would help you create space to dwell deeply, seek intentionally, and experience His faithfulness in your own story.
